Property & Your Stay
Wing Creek Resort is a luxury adults-only cabin resort nestled on the shores of Kootenay Lake, located 6 km north of Kaslo, British Columbia. The property features 5 beautifully appointed timber frame cabins, a private beach, an organic orchard, forest trails, the Falling Water Spa, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a Retreat Centre — all set against a breathtaking mountain and lake panorama. Owned and operated by Debra and Kevin, Wing Creek specializes in quiet, private getaways for couples (and solo travelers) and is one of BC’s most celebrated honeymoon destinations.
Each cabin is a standalone private retreat featuring: one bedroom with a queen bed and down duvets; a slate bathroom with bath and hairdryer; a fully equipped granite and hardwood kitchen with fridge, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and kitchenware; a living room with vaulted ceiling; a large private deck with panoramic views of Kootenay Lake and the Purcell Mountains; free Wi-Fi, free toiletries, and hardwood floors. All cabins were crafted by local timber frame artisans, blacksmiths, and craftspeople.
The 4 Cedarbrook cabins feature stone woodburning fireplaces and share access to a large BBQ. The Cedarcrest cabin (aka honeymoon cabin) is the largest and most private cabin, featuring robes, an entertainment centre, a woodburning stove and outdoor firepit, private BBQ, and huge outdoor living area.
Yes. Wing Creek Resort is a strictly adults-only property and an intentional sanctuary for couples. Pets are not permitted. Cottages are designed for 2 adults, each with one queen bed. Solo travelers are also welcome. The adults-only policy ensures a consistently peaceful and romantic atmosphere.
There are 5 luxury cabins on the property. Small groups of couples — such as travelling companions celebrating a milestone together — are welcome to book multiple cabins simultaneously. For group bookings or events using the Retreat Centre, contact the resort directly at info@wingcreekresort.com or 250-353-2475.

Autumn (September–October): Stunning fall foliage, crisp mountain air, ripe orchard fruit, and fewer guests. Winter (November–April): This is when we get the resort ready for guests!
